At the recent Natuzzi Italia showroom installation in Madrid, renowned designer Patricia Bustos unveiled Isla Sagrada—an immersive experience inspired by the Mediterranean way of life. A celebration of warmth, connection, and mindful living, the installation invited visitors to slow down, engage their senses, and reconnect with the spaces they inhabit.
At the heart of this evocative setting sat Amama, a remarkable sofa by Natuzzi Italia that embodies everything the installation sought to express: comfort, conviviality, and a deep sense of belonging.

The New Centre of the Home
Designed in Italy by Andrea Steidl, Amama reimagines the living room as the true social heart of the home. Its distinctive double-sided island configuration creates a welcoming focal point, encouraging interaction from every angle while seamlessly adapting to contemporary open-plan living.
The name itself is a palindrome—a word that reads the same forwards and backwards—reflecting the sofa’s perfectly balanced, dual-sided nature. It is a design that feels harmonious, approachable, and effortlessly elegant.
